Bottom's Up (Texas Beer Summit)

I suppose this image was inspired by the much hyped Obama "Beer Summit."  It's probably a more common sight here in Texas than in D. C.

Cash for Clunkers

We traded the old Suburban with 285,000 miles on it for a new little car for my daughter, Olivia.  This image is more symbolic of the event than an actual documentation of said event.

Daisy Finds the Mud Hole

As I was leaving the art show at Lavender Ridge Farms, Daisy was playing in the mud hole with a stick.  I actually had my camera within reach as I spotted her and got the shot off just at the right moment.

Piece Out, Texas!

I know, I know, it should be Peace Out, but I couldn't resist.  6" x 8" original oil on canvas panel

No More Pictures, Grandad!

This 6" x 8" original oil on canvas panel is of my precious granddaughter, Lilly, from a photograph that I took on her 2nd birthday.  She finally had enough of the "posed" pictures and was ready to go back in the house.  I think this was the best one of all.

Star Pitcher

12" x 12" x 1 1/2" original oil on gallery warpped canvas, the chair was inherited from my aunt and the pitcher was inspired by an inheritance from my mom.

Montague ISD Eagle Mural and Sign

The sign and eagle image are about 28 feel long.  The M and the ISD are 4 feet tall.  The hardest part was climbing up and down the ladder and scaffold.  It was a fun project, but not without some aches and pains afterwards.
